Product Description
The Huckleberry Landscape Paint Kit by Kikkerland is a pocket-size watercolor studio—eight colors, a brush, a pipette, and a small watercolor pad tucked into a wooden box—for painters who find inspiration wherever they are.
Open it on a rock at the trailhead, a picnic blanket at the park, or the car hood at a scenic overlook. A few drops of water from the pipette, a swipe of color, and the view goes into the pad.
Why Parents Love It
- Everything in one box: 8 watercolors, a brush, a pipette, and an A7 watercolor pad.
- Truly portable: At about 9.4 × 12 × 3.3 cm, it fits in a backpack or jacket pocket.
- Good materials: Reviewers on Kikkerland's site call the paper and brush very high quality and say the colors mix to almost anything.
- Built-in water tool: The pipette makes it easy to add just a little water, even away from a sink.
- Nature-inspired: Designed for landscape painting outdoors.
Built for Real Outdoor Use
Painting outside changes how kids look. They notice that the sky is not just blue, that the shadows under trees have color, and that the far-off hills fade toward gray. This little kit makes it easy to stop and try.
It is a calm activity for a rest stop on a hike, a quiet corner of a campsite, or the end of a day at the beach. A water bottle and a few minutes are all it needs.
Things to Know
- Paper size: The A7 pad measures about 4.1 × 2.9 inches, perfect for small studies; bring extra paper for bigger paintings.
- Bring water: Use the pipette with water from a bottle or cup.
- Age: Kikkerland does not list an age range.
- Materials: FSC-certified plywood box, PP, PET, cotton, and nylon.

Why ODSS Recommends It
ODSS recommends the Huckleberry Landscape Paint Kit for families who like to slow down outside. It turns any view into an invitation to look closer and paint what you see.
We especially like how small it is. A paint kit that fits in a pocket actually comes along, and that means more paintings made out where the inspiration is.
