Product Description
Waterproof DryVent™ and warm Heatseeker™ insulation help keep kids’ hands comfortable through snowy days, skiing, and winter play.
Why Parents Love It
The North Face Kids’ Montana Ski Gloves are built for the kind of winter days kids don’t want to end. Waterproof DryVent™ inserts, warm Heatseeker™ Eco insulation, soft fleece linings, and a wind-resistant gauntlet work together to provide practical cold-weather coverage for skiing, sledding, snow forts, and long afternoons outside.
- Waterproof protection: A DryVent™ insert helps keep hands dry in snowy winter conditions.
- Warm synthetic insulation: Heatseeker™ Eco insulation provides warmth with 160 g at the back of the hand and 120 g at the palm.
- Wind-resistant coverage: The gauntlet lining uses WindWall™ recycled polyester fabric.
- Soft fleece inside: High-pile fleece lines the back of the hand, while TKA 100 recycled fleece lines the palm.
- Durable grip: A faux-leather palm overlay adds durability and helps kids grip ski poles and other gear.
- Touchscreen compatible: Etip™ functionality at the thumb works with touchscreen devices.
Built for Real Outdoor Use
These gloves are made for real winter adventures—from first chairlift rides and ski-school mornings to backyard snow forts and sledding until the sun starts to disappear. A precurved finger shape creates a more natural resting position for little hands, while elastic at the wrist helps improve fit. A cuff pull makes them easier to get into place, and the pairing clip helps keep the two gloves together between adventures.
Things to Know
- Waterproof insert: DryVent™ provides the glove’s waterproof barrier.
- Water-repellent shell: The recycled polyester shell also has a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish.
- Different insulation weights: The back of the hand uses 160 g Heatseeker™ Eco, while the palm uses 120 g for a balance of warmth and function.
- Wind-resistant gauntlet: WindWall™ fabric is specifically used in the gauntlet lining.
- Touchscreen thumb: Etip™ functionality allows touchscreen use without removing the glove.

Why ODSS Recommends It
Cold, snowy days are exactly when good gear earns its place in a kid’s outdoor kit. We like the Montana Ski Gloves because they bring together waterproof protection, substantial insulation, wind-resistant coverage, soft fleece, and a reinforced palm in one practical design. They’re made for the winter moments kids remember—ski days, snowball fights, sledding hills, and coming inside only after one last run.
