A warm, waterproof baby snowsuit with Heatseeker™ insulation and head-to-toe coverage for first snow days and winter adventures.
Find Your Size
European sizes are based on your child’s height in centimeters. Because kids of the same age can be different sizes, height is the best guide for fit.
Enter your child’s height in inches, and we’ll show the closest CM size range. This correlates to the first number in the size option. ie: 98 or 122. If CM sizing is not provided, simply choose the age provided.
💡 Tip: These are general guidelines. Always check specific brand size charts when possible, as sizing can vary between manufacturers.
Product Description
The North Face Baby Freedom Snow Suit gives little explorers warm, waterproof head-to-toe coverage for their first snowy adventures. The one-piece design combines a waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L shell with Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation, creating a cozy winter layer for snowy walks, family outings, outdoor play, and cold days spent discovering winter together.
The body has 250 g Heatseeker™ insulation, with 160 g in the hood and sleeves, while a micro-fleece-lined yoke adds softness and warmth around the upper body. Reinforced areas at the yoke, seat, and kickpatches are made for real winter use, and leg gaiters with gripper elastic help keep snow from sneaking in around little boots.
Why Parents Love It
- Waterproof winter protection: A seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L shell is waterproof and breathable, with a non-PFC DWR finish to help keep little explorers dry.
- Warm synthetic insulation: Heatseeker™ insulation uses hollow-core fibers for warmth, performance, and durability.
- Extra warmth through the body: The body uses 250 g Heatseeker™ insulation, with 160 g in the hood and sleeves.
- One-piece coverage: The snowsuit design creates easy head-to-toe winter coverage without needing to coordinate a separate jacket and snow pants.
- Designed around diaper changes: A crotch gusset accommodates a diaper, while the front zipper design helps provide warmth during changes.
- Helps keep snow out: Leg gaiters feature gripper elastic for a secure fit around winter footwear.
- Reinforced for winter adventures: Durable nylon reinforces the yoke, seat, and kickpatch areas.
- Cozy upper-body lining: A polyester micro-fleece yoke lining adds softness and comfort.
Built for Real Outdoor Use
There’s something special about a baby’s first winter outside—the first falling snow, bundled-up stroller walks, tiny boots in the backyard, and family adventures that introduce them to a whole new season. The Baby Freedom Snow Suit is made to help make those cold-weather outings easier.
The one-piece construction keeps winter dressing simple, while waterproof DryVent™ protection, synthetic insulation, reinforced wear areas, and snow gaiters create a practical setup for cold, snowy conditions. An asymmetrical front zipper and diaper-friendly crotch gusset are thoughtful additions for the realities of getting babies bundled up and back outside.
From snowy walks and sled rides with the family to outdoor daycare routines and first adventures in the snow, it’s a winter layer made for the earliest chapters of an outdoor childhood.
